Pegumax is a small team. Being small is the point — it keeps us close to the people who use our software and quick to act on what they tell us. That's why every app ships with feedback built in: we want you to voice your opinion and tell us what you'd like to see next.
We keep as much of our software free as we possibly can. We only ask for payment on the apps that genuinely cost money to maintain and run — and even then, we try to keep it fair. No surveillance tax, no dark patterns, no nickel-and-diming.

How we got here
Pegumax LLC founded
We start the studio and ship our first tool — Movie Word Scanner (later renamed LucidCut) — while beginning work on the Student Suite.
Game Portal built
A single secure launcher to download, manage, and play games.
Student Suite deployed
After months of building, the all-in-one companion launches on web, iOS, and Android.
Apex Studio launches
Our local-first media suite ships, alongside a major Game Portal feature update.
Always building
Scribe ships, and development continues on Contour and Inference — plus ongoing improvements to our live apps. Deep testing and rich features take time, and we don't cut corners.
